Founded in 2000 by Dirk Odendaal, renowned entrepreneur in the healthcare industry, X/procure® Software SA captured the market and today delivers an effective on-line procurement and advertising system to the South African pharmaceutical industry. With this software being used by all the major pharmacy groups, and numerous independent pharmacists, X/procure® is anticipated to process over R4 billion in orders this year. Odendaal will remain with the company as non-executive chairman.
